James Palucci

VP of Finance

As the Vice-President, Finance at MKB, James leads the firm’s corporate finance, investor reporting, and other finance related functions across the group. He has been an integral part of scaling the MKB platform to an institutional grade level and plays a key role in MKB’s compliance and overall governance functions at both the corporate and fund level. James implements best practices across the group and his dedication extends beyond conventional finance as an active member of the firm’s ESG Committee. James is also an enrolled cohort member of BDC’s GP Academy, a higher educational program designed specifically for finance and operation leaders in the venture capital and private equity industry.

Prior to joining MKB, James spent five years as a public auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers where he audited some of Canada’s largest investment managers with assets under management in excess of $100 billion.

James is a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant who also holds an MBA from the John Molson School of Business and is passionate about the sustainability space.
