MKB is excited to announce that Geetanjali Kanwar and Saul Muskin have recently joined our team

As analysts and members of MKB’s investment team, both Geetanjali and Saul support the investment team in the sourcing, screening and assessment of investment opportunities, due diligence, financial modelling, collaborating with and monitoring portfolio companies and conducting market research and sector deep dives in MKB’s key focus sectors.

Prior to joining MKB, Geetanjali worked at EY in New Delhi, where she focused on performing external audits and financial analysis of Fortune500 technology companies. In her role as an Audit Associate, she participated in the audit process of a $600B company.

Geetanjali holds a Master of Management in Finance from McGill University and a Bachelor of Commerce (graduating with Honors) from the University of Delhi. At McGill, she managed the technology sector portfolio for the long-only Socially Responsible Equity fund. For her master’s thesis, she conducted empirical research on the Canadian venture capital industry landscape, analyzing the role and impact of gender on fundraising efforts of start-ups.

Geetanjali is passionate about having a meaningful impact in shaping the cities and societies of tomorrow.  A fun fact about Geetanjali: she is trained in contemporary and jazz dance and is a vegetarian by choice.

Saul has a background in renewable energy, joining MKB after working at Clean Energy Collective (CEC), a leading community solar company based out of Colorado. In his role as financial analyst at CEC, Saul performed corporate finance functions and solar project finance modelling. He contributed to the development of close to 100 MW of community solar assets.

Saul received his Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in 2016, where he was involved with a number of business and sustainability initiatives. At McGill, he was selected to participate in a scholarship exchange program at Shantou University in southern China. Having lived in four different countries before the age of 18, Saul has a well-developed global perspective, and speaks English, French, and has a working knowledge of Spanish and German. A fun fact about Saul: while living in Morocco, he played hockey for five years.
