Chanel Damphousse joined MKB in 2013, and as Partner, focuses on investments in the built environment sectors. With over a decade of investment experience, she was key to the creation of MKB’s institutional funds business, establishment of its investment processes and now leads the fundraising strategy.

Chanel brings extensive real estate experience from her prior career at the Government of Canada’s Real Property Branch, where she supported the management of the federal real estate portfolio.

Chanel actively champions entrepreneurship through Quebecor’s AsterX grant programs and Startup Montreal. She has been involved in Reseau-Capital’s Elle-Invest initiative to promote the inclusion and advancement of women in the VC/PE industry and with various mentorship programs. Chanel received an MSc in Applied Financial Economics from HEC Montreal and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Ottawa.
