MKB Welcomes Katherine Hamilton as Advisor

We’re pleased to announce that Katherine Hamilton has joined our team of Advisors. Katherine brings extensive experience and expertise in international policy, clean energy, and technology. As Chair of 38 North and a three-time honoree as one of the 500 most influential people in Washington, DC, by Washingtonian magazine, she is an exceptional addition to our team of advisors and brings her decades of experience to bear as one of the leading voices in the energy transition. 

Katherine has been a prominent voice in the energy sector, serving as an original and longtime host of The Energy Gang podcast and a regular contributor to The Carbon Copy podcast. She has led several councils of the World Economic Forum as a global policy and technology thought leader and is currently a Senior Executive in Clean Power and Electrification. 

Her extensive leadership experience includes serving as Vice Chair of the board of Greentown Labs, Non-Executive Director at Smarter Grid Solutions, and Independent Director at Peak Power. Katherine also served as President of the GridWise Alliance, advocating for smart grid funding in the Obama Administration’s Recovery Act. 

Katherine’s distinguished career spans roles as a policy advisor for Good Energies, Inc., co-director of the American Bioenergy Association, and leadership positions at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and Virginia Power. She holds degrees from Cornell University and the Sorbonne and has been recognized with a Cleanie Award as Entrepreneur of the Year.
