MKB is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Burghardt as Advisor

Christopher brings a wealth of experience as an entrepreneur and C-suite executive, with a distinguished career spanning the fields of energy and mobility. He is the co-founder and CEO of Xlinks Germany and currently serves on the board of directors of EVIQ, an EV charging infrastructure company based in Saudi Arabia, and as Chairman of ZeroMission.io, an EV fleet management solutions business based in Ireland. Additionally, Christopher serves as an advisor at McKinsey & Company, Urban Partners / 2150, and con|energy AG.

Christopher’s extensive operational leadership experience includes his tenure at ChargePoint, where as Managing Director for Europe, he was responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s European business. Prior to ChargePoint, he played a key role in Uber’s EMEA management team, where he oversaw market development, policy, and communications across 45 markets. Christopher previously led global and emerging market expansion at First Solar, a provider of solar panels and utility-scale PV power plants. Prior to joining First Solar, Christopher was Vice President for Corporate Affairs for Western Europe at Anheuser-Busch InBev, and Vice President for Business Development and Marketing EMEA at Hill & Knowlton.

A dual German-Belgian national, he earned an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MA from the College of Europe, and a BA from the University of Sussex and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Aix-en-Provence. Christopher’s strategic insights and extensive experience will play a key role as we continue to drive innovation and growth in our portfolio.
